Coronavirus Information, Precautions & Updates

We’re committed to the well-being of each of our members, employees, and visitors.  To that end, we wanted to share with you the updated precautionary measures Paradise Valley FCU is taking during the coronavirus crisis.

Information for our Members

We are asking our members to temporarily limit visits to our National City Branch, taking advantage of our many alternative services such as:

    • ATM – Cash withdrawals and deposits can be made at a convenient Co-Op, Plus, or Star ATM using your Visa® reward debit or ATM card.
    • On-Line Virtual Branch – Check balances and transaction postings, make or schedule payments, transfer funds between accounts, all using our Virtual Branch accessible on our website – www.paradisevalleyfcu.org
    • Mobile App – Complete mobile deposits, transfer funds, or schedule bill payments safely from your mobile device.
    • Visa® Rewards Credit and Debit cards – Use these cards to decrease your need for handling cash, while earning uChoose Reward® points with every purchase.
    • Night Drop – Located next to the ATM outside our National City Branch, can be used for after-hour deposits and payments to be posted the next business day.
    • Call our Branch – One of our helpful Member Service Representatives can answer your questions and process your requests by dialing (619) 475-4313 or (800) 253-6991; note: any applicable fees for these services will be waved until further notice.

If you need to visit our branch:

    • Do not visit our Branch if you have a fever, cough, or are experiencing shortness of breath.
    • Modified lobby hours are currently in effect – Monday-Friday, 9 am – 2 pm.
    • We are limiting the number of members permitted in the Credit Union lobby at one time, as well as carefully practicing recommended social distancing in all areas.
    • Hand sanitizer use is promoted for our members and staff, as well as additional antibacterial supplies being regularly used on all touched surfaces, along with enhanced cleaning procedures.
    • Appropriate member screening measures are currently in place; we appreciate your understanding and participation in these brief important steps before entering the Branch.
    • Our staff has been thoroughly trained on practicing proper handwashing, face covering, and other precautionary safety measures according to the CDC’s guidelines.

Your Credit Union is aware that the coronavirus crisis has financially affected many members more severely than others. It is our intention to assist those most negatively impacted with creative options in managing their current payment obligations to PVFCU, as well as providing low interest, short term, signature loans. Please contact us today so we can help determine the best way to assist you.

 

Skip Pay – terms and conditions

    • Skip Pay arrangements can be made on the following PVFCU loans and balances
      • Vehicle loans
    • Unsecured loans
      • Close-end, and
      • Open-End
    • Visa® balances – automatically deferred for May and June for all members
    • Real estate
      • First mortgage, and
      • Second mortgage
    • Payments may be deferred for one or two months
      • Interest will continue to accrue but there are:
        • No late fees, and
        • No initiation/processing fees

    Emergency Relief Loan – terms and conditions

    • E. R. Loans may range between $500 and $3,000
      • Members currently unemployed will have a loan cap of $1,000
    • E. R. Loans maximum term will be 24 months
    • E. R. Loans special fixed APR is 5%
      • At 5%, estimated payments will be $44 / month per $1,000 borrowed
    • E. R. Loans first payment can be deferred for up to 60 days

Don’t Forget – Mobile Banking

We make it easy to bank on the go with PVFCU mobile options. Our Branch remains open, but PVFCU would like to encourage you to sign up for our eServices. This will allow you to continue to access your account and limit your required person-to-person interaction as much as possible.
